This chipboard is good but certainly not as heavy as I anticipated. I also purchased the 85 pt which, in my mind, wouldn't be much heavier however there seems to be a huge gap in between these sizes. The 85 is extremely heavy and I use it for album covers, mixed media projects etc so I thought the 52 may be a couple of steps down from that but I'm not sure I'd even call it heavy.
I've recently gotten into making scrapbooks and this chipboard is perfect for the covers. It's ever so slightly flexible but easier to cut than the heavier one, and with additional paper, adhesives and embellishments it's very sturdy. Scrapbook.com has fast shipping and their product always arrives packaged very well. Chipboard and paper never get bent, creased or wrinkled. Very happy with my purchases.
This chipboard is not crunchy when you cut it, it's good for modelling and designing too. The pack arrived without any faulty angles. Highly recommended.
