This makes chipboard the ideal material for things like journal covers, album covers, gift tags, photo frames, home decor, and so much more! Cut it, ink it, glue it, stamp on it, paint it, or do whatever else your imagination can think of!

Questions & Answers
  • Is this chipboard strong enough to be used as a cover for a scrapbook?   By: clearsky0821 (18-Mar-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
This question is about a related product.
    • Absolutely. Very thick...just over 1/16-inch (3/32). You may need a crop-a-dial to punch holes. If you want to test...about 8 pieces of (Michaels) Recollections brand of Kraft cardstock is just about the thickness of this chipboard. By: clrutz (19-Mar-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I just received my order yesterday and haven't had a chance to use this product in a project yet. It appears to be double the thickness of medium weight chipboard and should hold up as a scrapbook/minibook cover By: Rbranom (19-Mar-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • is the 2x heavy chipboard suitable to make boxes. What is the best way to cut it?   By: plottie (25-Feb-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes, you could definitely use the 2x Heavy Chipboard. We would recommend either a craft knife with a ruler or the Tonic Guillotine cutter to cut through the chipboard. Hope this helps!
