I ordered these to use as pages in a 8x8 album I am making for our trip. {Yes, I know they are 8.5x14, but I wanted them big to cut down and have extra pieces for die-cuts} I knew I wanted something thin enough to cut with my paper trimmer, and I didn't want the page to be terribly heavy after adding pp or cs and embellies and photos! These are the PERFECT weight! You can't go wrong with this product! I can only find light weight like this on SB.com so I will be ordering more! {on a free shipping day of course :)}
GOING TO TRY THIS ONE MORE TIME TO GET THIS WRITTEN UP, AND SENT OFF. I LOVE THESE CHIPBOARDS. YOU CAN GET ONE 8X8 AND ONE 6X6 PIECE OUT OF EACH PIECE TO USE FOR ALBUMS, ETC. I LOVE THESE, WHAT A GREAT IDEA.
This one of my all time favorite gifts. I think every time I use a piece another grows in its place because my stash seems never ending. I use this to make mini albums and to die cut my own embellies. Each sheet is a nice size and a nice cuttable weight, not to thick and not too thin.
I was a little worried about how heavy these would be, but they are perfect!! Not too heavy yet not too flimsy. I used them for a small recipe book and I am not disappointed.
I like having this in my stock. I often use cereal boxes or the like for this purpose, but this is nice when i want it quick and easy.
This chipboard is perfect for using punches since it is thin. I use it for several projects.
The chipboard was great but the shipping was more than double the price of the chipboard!

Is this product compatible with the Sizzix BigShot machine for die cutting?

Yes. However, you can not use the chipboard with the thinlit dies. They are just too thin to cut through chipboard.
