I was so excited to order these blending tools, however, when I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was that the foam itself is quite rough. So I started using them right away. Yes, it DOES NOT give you the harsh lines that the flat blending sponges give but it does give you splotchy areas. If you are going to go heavy on the ink then it's ok.
I tried it with stencils and it kept snagging on the stencil with intricate details because of the roughness of the foam. I wanted these domed sponges to work so bad. Please make them a little softer.
P.S. they wash off really well.
I am disappointed in this product. It "sticks" during application and it "sheds" little bits after a few applications

I love these ink blending tools! The foam is nice and dense and doesn't separate from the blending tool....an A+++ in my book!

I am a lousy "distresser" - I just don't have the right touch and I am always leaving lines, but not with these domed foam applicators! They work beautifully. No lines! Highly recommend!
I have every kind of blending applicator already, but just on a whim, I got these and I am so happy to have found them. I also purchased the tool and find that the velcro on that is more secure and the foams are sturdier so they come on and off easier than the other brands. I will now switch over to these totally for my blending needs.
I love the concept of these daubers and they are amazing to work with. They create beautiful backgrounds without leaving any lines. The only thing I don't like about them is that when I tried to remove them from the wooden handle, 2 of the 3 I was using pulled off at the foam cushion instead of at the felt where it attaches to the Velcro.
I was very disappointed with the craftsmanship of the assembly of these foam applicators and I think they need to be redesigned to fix the separation issue.
Having said that, I still love them and will continue to use them. I'm having a blast creating beautiful Fall background papers with my Distress Oxides, watercolor paper and these fantastic applicators.

I love these! The domed foam is genius and allows for blending with no harsh lines. They seem to pick up more ink than other brands too so it's less work to blend.

These have quickly become my new favorite tool for blending. The domed shape allows for easier blending with no harsh lines! They seem to pick up more ink for a faster blend, too...which is absolutely a dream. I love that the handles are grey to match with my Oxides (Lol) and I just ordered a bunch more so I can have a blending foam for all my colors.

I got these just to see if they were better than the normal blenders that seem to fall apart so fast and I was not disappointed this is an amazing product. They last through multiple blends without even a hint that there is an issue. I definitely will be getting more as these are the best thing ever or ink blending!!!

Does the foam start to crumble apart easily? I'm worried that with continuously going over edges it will crumble easily.

They fit nicely in the 5x7 Clear Craft and Photo Storage Case link or the 4x6 Clear Craft and Photo Storage Case link depending on how many you own. The 5x7 easily holds more than 50 refill sponges stored on their side. I hope that helps.

There are 6-10 pack refill domed applicators PLUS 2 Blending Tools that include 5 refill domed applicators in package...making that a total of 70 refill domed applicators in this bundle!!! I purchased enough of these domed foam applicators so that I can have a dedicated one for each of my die ink pads. In that case, must I clean these with soap and water after each use? Or can I just get some of the ink off on scrap paper before storing? I am just using a clear plastic 2-dozen egg carton for storage.

We would recommend using one per color and we don’t wash them at all, we just pick up the sponge and go when we're ready to use the same color again. Hope this helps!

Any chance we will get an item of just the tools in bulk? I would like to get a tool for each of my distress colours but don’t need so many replacement foams (originally ordered 6 tools and got like 50 additional foamies). Would be nice since I need another 50 just tools no refills
