I love these small dies. They can be used as accents in combination with any number of stamps and dies. They are a terrific addition to my card-making tools!
I purchased these little guys to add more details to my outdoor themed cards. The style of the cloud and sun shapes creat a clean cutout that blends well with the style of most of my outdoor themed dies.
I have been looking for a sun that is small. The sun and clouds are a perfect combination.lobevthe way it turned out on my cards
I have always loved Spellbinders products but this set left me flat. I already have some really nice cloud dies and thought these would be a good addition to my cloud set. If I didn't have any others, I suppose I'd think these were great. I don't care for the sun die either, but I don't have any dies of the sun, so this one will have to do until I find a better one. The quality is there; they cut through the paper on the first pass, and the papers release easily without having to 'pick' at them.
I love the swirls embossed on the clouds when stamped. However, when cutting the sun, the opening in the die leaves a slight imprint of the circle cut out. Since it’s not the reason I purchased the set, I will not deduct a star. One can always cut a separate circle to lay over the sun’s rays to add dimension and color interest. That solve the issue.
