This 13 piece etched metal die set, Winter Welcome Sled is part of the Celebrate The Season Collection from Spellbinders. This die set features a sled and all its parts, pine branches, holly leaves, and a pair of ice skates! These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The sled runner measures 1.95" x 4.06", the skate base measures 1.04" cx 1.2", the evergreen base measures 1.36" x 0.62", the holly leaf measures 0.74" x 0.81", and the poinsettia base measures 0.94" x 0.94".
I love the little skates. You can change up the colors and laces to suit your fancy. The sled can be cut with woodgrain and stained cardstock or you can make your own custom wood. The greenery can be made as is or made fuller with as many extra cuts as desired. The is my favorite Christmas die set. It is just so versatile.
I make cards for charity and one type of card that is needed are winter themed cards. This die set fits the bill! Perfect size for many of the cards I make.

Oh my gosh! Could anything be any cuter? I made a Christmas card for my daughter, who is an accomplished skater. She loved it. Highly recommended.
Very nice product. I like the details of the wooden sled pieces, that the dies are already cut, and that there is an outline of pieces on cardboard behind plastic storage sheet for ease of product placement with clean up. Very nicely made.
The sled is very easy to assemble because there are embossed dots on the frame that match the holes in the wood slats. Also, the die pieces do not have to be cut apart. The package arrives ready to use. It's a lot of fun to make.
