Add depth and dimension on your next superb slimline creation with the Flora Embossing Folder from the Slimline Collection by Spellbinders. Included in the package is one slimline-sized 3" x 8" embossing folder with flowers and leaves that can be used with most leading die cutting machines (sold separately).
This makes a super textured background to floral cards. I've used it with tiny flower die cuts and also just on its own and it looks great both ways. Nice defined textures. I used a Sizzix Big Shot.
This is a beautiful folder. I found it needed shims on my hand cranked machine but more than deep on my electric machine. I'm just getting into slimline cards and this was a great folder.
This folder works well, but it is a little narrow for a full sized slimline card. It would work if you add a matte to it, but beware of going over the one ounce postage rate if you add many embellishments or die cuts.. .
I love it, I just wish there were more slimline designs to pick from.

Can you put spellbinder dies and embossing folders through another brand machine, such as Sizzix?

Just check your machine's directions for the sandwich to use (or check on line - there are lots of charts explaining this). I have dies and folders from multiple companies.
