There are six dies included in the Sizzix Christmas Thinlits die set. Thinlits dies are very popular due to their intricate detailing. You will love the elegance these traditional Christmas shapes give your cards and layouts. Featuring a Christmas tree, snowflake, angel and more, these dies can be used on their own or paired together for even more creative options. Rachael Bright designed these stunning dies. Your shapes, when cut, will range from 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" to 1 1/2" x 6 1/2". They are made in a process called chemical etching to ensure the cutting edge is flawless. Thinlits dies are portable and easy to store, due to their thinness. These dies can be used in a BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machine with a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's Platform. (Use of the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform and Shim will also require an Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter.) As these dies are very detailed, it may be necessary to send them through the machine up to three times to fully cut. The intricate details may make it difficult to remove the shape from the die. If you find that to be the case, add wax paper between the die and the paper. These dies are also capable of embossing (the machine's Platform, an Impressions Pad and a Silicone Rubber Sheet are needed). These ultra thin dies can also double as stencils. Try using the stencil with the embossed shape for even more creative options. Included is a storage envelope to hold your die. Cut off the front flap of the packaging and save it in the envelope to quickly identify your die. You will also receive cutting guidelines for all Sizzix machines.
