Make room in your Christmas crafting for the Nativity Thinlits Die from the Celebrating Life Collection by Luisa Elena Guillen for Sizzix. There are 6 thin metal dies included that can be used with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines (requires use of a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform; when using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform & Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required, all pieces sold separately) to cut, emboss or stencil. The dies are in the shapes of wise men, stars, manger and nativity.

  I made 20 gift cards (not greeting cards) so they're small. I selected the Holy Family, barnhouse, the Three Kings and the ground. Excluded were the stars and tree because they were tiny and difficult to extract from the die without getting torn. For the main star I used a slightly bigger die from a separate set (Sparkle).
  
  The cane of St Joseph and the Three Kings at the camels' legs were not easy to extract as well, tended to break.
  
  But they came out ok, my husband said the cards look elegant.
