Add a touch of beauty and whimsy to your craft with the Perspective Butterfly Thinlit Die designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This wafer-thin chemically-etched die is designed to cut, emboss, or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, or vellum. The Thinlit die included is compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot, and Vagabond machines (all sold separately). Included in the package is one thin metal die that measures 6.25" x 5.25".
Nothing negative, just some constructive feedback. I would have given them 5 stars but I think they missed the mark by not pairing this die with an outline die to make it more versatile. Hopefully they will consider it.
This is a very large die. I failed to read the dimensions when buying, so I was surprised when it arrived. It cuts decently, requiring more than one pass, but that is stated on the instructions. I'm happy with it.
Quite large, very detailed, looks amazing. I used it for a background in a collage and am looking forward to many more projects with it. No issues cutting with it (pearled card stock), using a spellbinders platinum. I often use a metal shim for detailed dies, this one cut fine.
So far I have cut out 2 of these butterflies and I used the brush to get the excess pieces out, which I really had not done before and it is prefect. I am just so delighted with this product.. Thank you!
I raise Swallowtail caterpillars and release the butterflies and this makes me happy in the cool weather when they aren’t around. The detail is amazing.
The details and size of this die is stunning 😍 I used my Big Shot die cutting machine and it cut perfectly.

Such a beautiful die. Can use this on anything you wish. I recently used a portion on a book mark for a friend and the result was stunning!!!!!
Large size, perfect for tags and mixed media projects.
I ran it through a couple of times and the texture is unbelievable!!
Absolutely stunning results - a standout in every way. Dramatic or light-hearted depending upon the colour of paper used.
