Add some hippity hop to your Easter crafts with the Carrot Bunny Thinlits Die Set designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This wafer-thin chemically-etched die set is designed to cut, emboss, or stencil a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, or vellum. The Thinlit dies included are compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot, and Vagabond machines (all sold separately). Included in the package are 11 thin metal dies the largest die in the set measures .635" x 4.13" and the smallest measures .13" x .13".
As usual this die set cuts cleanly and crisply as most Tim Holtz dies. The rabbit image looks rather simple but I found it involved a lot of work. Adding details to the face like rosy cheeks, eyes, nose and mouth and the inner pink inside the ears was nerve-racking for me! Even using tweezers, it's rather precise work and required more of my time than I planned. I'd rather fool with a bigger character or floral image but you may like such detailed work. The large carrot die seems inappropriately sized to use with the rabbit, too large so I only use the smaller carrot. This die set is not my favorite although it's adorable and makes a cute Easter decoration. The rabbit has free arms that can hold a number of objects or be propped up holding onto a little basket, etc and that's pretty cool! To be honest, I don't think I'll use this die much in the future.
All I can say is...ADORABLE. I just started making some of these cute little bunnies and carrots and they are super cute. This is one of my favorite purchases that I have made in a while. While there are several tiny parts to assemble I think it is definitely worth the effort. Love these little guys.
I cut a bunch of these and took time to assemble all. There are many tiny parts, but that is what makes this die set so cute! Tim has again pleased his fans!

OK so some of the pieces are really small but it is so worth it. These bunnies come out so darn cute. The carrots are great too!
I love this die set does have a lot of tiny pieces to put together. I only cut a sample but will be using it for projects soon
