This unique Thinlits die, Simple Plaid, is designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This die creates a simple plaid design just as the name says. This Thinlits die is a wafer-thin, chemically etched die designed to cut, emboss, and stencil. This die is designed to work with one piece of paper, cardstock, or vellum at a time and is designed to work with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This die can be used for cards, on scrapbook pages, journals, planners, anywhere a bit of plaid is needed on other paper crafting and mixed media projects.

I do love this die cut but will say, I have the magic mat that I use with my Sizzix Big Shot and I had to use 2 of the plastic mats in place of the magic mat because it didn’t cut through as well and left it so the paper wasn’t cut all the way through in some areas (hopefully that makes sense, lol). I didn’t want to knock it on stars because it definitely could be an issue on my end but wasn’t sure if others were seeing this. Very cute and can’t wait to use it for fall cards! Fits perfectly for A2 size cards in case anyone is wondering :)
