Beautiful butterflies are the theme for this wonderful kit designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This bundle includes butterfly stamps and dies and one Shaping Tool Kit. The butterfly stamps are cling mounted rubber stamps, deeply etched, that come on a 3-hole punched storage sheet. These stamps adhere well to acrylic blocks and work with your favorite inks and markers (all sold separately). The smallest stamp measures 1.25" x 2.25" and the largest measures 1.75" x 2.25". The coordinated dies measure anywhere from .125" x .375" to 2.25" x 1.875" and work with most leading die cutting machines (sold separately). The Shaping Tool Kit contains 1 molding pad, one 2 mm/5 mm Stylus Tool, one 8 mm/10 mm Stylus Tool, and one pair of Reverse-Action Tweezers for adding extra dimension and depth to the already gorgeous butterflies in this collection.
These stamps are great quality, the shapes and patterns are realistic, rather than cartoonish - perfect for art pieces, cards, journals. They go super well with the matching dies. Having such fun stamping on watercolour paper and colouring with water-based markers.

I love Tim Holtz stamps I have the die and I just needed the stamp. I am just not crazy about rubber stamps, I can't see through them like the clear ones.

I have the Tim Holtz flutter butterfly die cut and stamps. Do these coordinate together. I tried both ways die cut first then stamp. Stamped then die cut. Both ways the entire stamp does not fit inside the die cuts which cuts off butterfly anntena .

Yes, the Tim Holtz flutter die cut set and flutter stamps coordinate. I always stamp first then cut (I hold the die in place during cutting with a small piece of washi tape). Yes, the die does cut off the antenna. If you want the antenna, I would suggest 2 options: stamping the butterfly twice--once in the place where you will glue it down and once to die cut out and glue over the first one (so you see the antenna from the stamped image below; and if you fold the wings on the top on up a little bit, you get a nice double-wing effect), or, you can make antenna with some wire.
