The glimmer mists by Tattered Angels are great. I tried one at a crop, I was making a page about my boxer puppy and handcut a bone from patterned paper but wanted it to stand out more. I tried one of the glimmer mists, and it worked perfectly - it matched my layout but gave it an extra oomph the page needed. It's easy to use, I even covered a sticker embellishment with it to match the page - the center of the sticker was white and stood out, so I covered a paper towel with the shimmer mist and rubbed it on (I was afraid it would be too dark if I sprayed it directly on the sticker). It worked...it added a light touch of color, and tinted it a light creamy peach. I'd highly recommend these products to anyone - the possibilities are endless, you could spray primas to match a page, cover chipboard, even recolor cardstock. The only downside is the price - if you want a full color range, it'll be expensive...but it's worth it to get at least the basic colors you use most often.
If you haven't tried Glimmer Mist yet, you're in for a great experience. This water based spray can alter the look of any paper or cardstock with a hint of color and shimmer leaving a mottled appearance. The sprayed areas can be darkened with more mist which helps you get the look you want and you can work several colors of Mist onto the same paper. I like to spray my paper and then tip it on end to get drips. To avoid warping, I put my project under a heavy object to dry or iron it when dry.
Copper is a great neutral color and it will add a metallic cast to any distressing, altering or aging you might have on your project. Glimmer Mist gets 5 stars and both thumbs up from me.

I was skeptical at first, but now that I have taken the plunge and really started to use Glimmer Mist - I must say I LOVE IT. It offers so many creative possibilities. I have used it on plain chipboard, as well as over painted elements. The best part is not really knowing how it will look until it is done and dried. Copper is my favorite, but I am looking forward to experimenting with the spring and summer colors for upcoming layouts. Have fun with it and spray it around. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

It was my fav new product at CHA-Summer. Considering its my job to go to every booth, that's saying a lot LOL! I adore it. I bought graphite, merlot and copper. Its really fun to spray chipboard letters. It layers and layers, just let it dry in between. You can use your embossing gun to dry it faster, or just leave it out to dry. I even sprayed clothes pins (that i use to hang my kids art up). Its water based and has no smell. So much easier to use than spray paint!
Glitter Mist is a really fun way to add instant shimmer to your projects. I have used it several times and the shimmer effect it adds is a unique look that can't be gotten with glitter or gems. However, I would recommend using it for chipboard or metal embellies, or to help add an aged look to papers. Since it is water-based it can cause the papers to crinkle a bit.
I sprayed this on a box project over a tan acrylic paint and got a great finished look. The color is beautiful, versatile in many ways.
