      These are a shimmer pigment powder. Sprinkle some on watercolor cardstock and spritz with water. Or coat paper with water first then lightly tap on powder. You can also watercolor with them by putting powder in a palette and adding water. Tons of videos on YouTube. Very vibrant and full of shimmer!     Do you ONLY have to use this on watercolor paper? What is the difference in using items like these on watercolor paper vs sketching paper, canvases, or cardstock paper that's light, heavy, or smooth?       Regarding the Shimmer Powders, I have used them on cardstock, water color paper and canvases. With any product that you have not used before, I suggest that you experiment with it. I have found that the people who experiment with our products come up with some very creative techniques and looks that are unique.
