Sweeten up your tropical crafts with the Pineapple Delight Glacier Paste by Nuvo. Your projects are going to shine shine shine with this eye-catching shade of yellow. The paste works great with fabric, acetate, glass or wood. Included in the package is one jar of glacier paste that has a glimmer finish that is part of the Tropical Paradise Collection.
Just fyi, this paste does not stay raised on the paper like the glimmer paste. It also takes a long time to dry even with a heat tool. It tends to flatten after completely drying if you are trying to use it as a modeling paste with stencils. It also has more of a bright gold shimmer on the paper I’ve used it on rather than the bright yellow. But I haven’t tried it on many different colors of backgrounds so maybe it stays yellow on white paper. Still happy with this purchase.
I love Nuvo products! Once I got good at using them I know it longer purchased enamel dots… And there is so much flexibility! For this product, I like to use a spatula and streak color across the area I am working on. The only complaint I have about this product is it doesn’t fit well in any of my storage containers. Nuvo makes a “glimmer paste” in a narrow container, and I wish they would use that container for these glacier pastes!
Very bright and cheerful color. Glad I purchased it as it really adds "pop" to my cards.

Once dried, will the glacier paste or the mica flake/scratch off? This question applies to all the glacier colors.

When the Glacier paste dried is creates a surface that cannot easily be rubbed off or scratched by general handling as it bonds to the paper. However, if the surface was scratched with scissors, pick, or knife it would scratch off.

We've not seen the mica flake off as it is embedded in the product as it dries.

Can these be mixed to create other colors? Like mixing the yellow with pink to make peach/orange for example?
