Pick the Pink Carnation Mica Mist from the Blue Blossom Collection by Nuvo. The package includes one 2.7oz bottle of mica mist featuring a removable ultra-fine nozzle so that the product can be sprayed or painted onto your projects. The sparkly mica powder and pigment formula can be used with stencils, on porous surfaces and to build up lustre as it adheres to surfaces.
This is a beautiful shade of pink that has lots of mica for added shine and sparkle. Spray as lightly or as many times as you want to achieve your desired color.
First, this product is just too watery. No matter how light a touch you use the paper gets too wet and curls up. The only thing it works well on is chipboard.
I tried using a paintbrush to apply it but that didn’t work out. On top of that the spray bottle gets clogged very easily. It’s a shame because the color is beautiful and the shimmer of the mica is so soft and nice.
EDIT: Gary at Tonic advised me how to ensure that the nozzle doesn’t clog. After use, remove the nozzle & rinse with water. Place the entire nozzle into a container of water then pump out all the mica spray. I changed my rating to three stars because I’m still trying to figure out how to keep it from soaking the paper.
