I bought the Merry & Bright combo (red and green) the purple and a turquoise shade. Only the purple one works. Ive had them for a while and just decided to try them on a birthday card. The other 3 sprayers just pump up and down 50 times and nothing comes out. I shook the bottle before use. I even unassembled one of the bottles and cleaned out the hose and nozzle. Still didnt work. Very disappointed.

  You are basically spraying a mist of color on to your card base to create a background color with a shimmer to it. You get a speckled color pattern depending on how close, how far and how fast or slow you spray. You get different effects depending on how you use the sprayer. You should practice on scraps to develop the technique that you like best for you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you are done spraying, you MUST clean out the sprayer. This will clear the nozzle and spray tube so that it does not dry and clog up. You clean it by removing it from the bottle and inserting the spray tube in water. Spray it until the mist is clear.
