My experience with this ink was interesting. At first I could not get it to transfer well to the paper, but then I changed to a good quality white card stock and got somewhat better results.
The pad is the same as those used with pigment inks. The stamps, both photopolymer and red rubber stamps, inked well. Some papers accepted the ink better than other papers and on all of the papers the ink and silver pigment that transferred was smooth; not at all splotchy. Unfortunately, much of the ink and silver pigment remained adhered to the stamps rather than transferring to the paper.
Cleaning the stamps was not a problem. I used baby wipes and they worked well. The disappointing thing, however, was the large amount of ink that needed to be cleaned off of the stamps. I wish that all of that beautiful silvery pigment had ended up on the paper.
I am not impressed with this silver ink. While it printed nicely on glossy paper, it's nearly impossible to get a clean saturated image stamped on regular card stock of any colour. All my images look faded, and more ink stays stuck to the stamps than transfers over to the paper.
It was also really difficult to clean off the stamps. I'm a fan of this brand of ink overall, but not this colour.
This ink is beautiful! A definite must for a silver and blush wedding album.
Just got a few of these on sale and I love them
Nice, bold color! Love this.
