Questions & Answers
  • I asked several weeks ago and haven't gotten a reply so I'll try again. I've never used the binding wires but would like to. Can anyone tell me how many embellished pages a 1 inch wire will hold? The embellishments will be mostly flip pages, waterfalls and a few cardstock add on items, nothing too terribly thick or bulky.   By: d_mhaley (06-May-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I like to use fabriano watercolor paper (140lb) for my pages and it’s thicker than card stock (65lb). I have fit 32 pages of fabriano into the 1 inch coil easily and the book doesn’t bulge. With the kinds of pages you want to use, flip pages as fold outs, the open side where the folds are will be thicker but not too much. I’ve also used 65lb card stock for pages too with most of the pages folded in and with more pages in between the folded pages. I used about the same 32-35 pages, many with light collaged images. The folded page, open end of the book is wider than at the coil, however my book doesn’t bulge either. By: withcath (09-May-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
