This amazing cover die is inspired by the delicate look of Broderie Anglaise and is a Create-A-Card Decorative Panel Die from Crafter's Companion. This Chantilly die will produce a beautiful background for your cards and other projects. This die measures 5" x 7" and is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This die can be used with vellum for a parchment craft look and looks amazing with the edges colored with your choice of inks (sold separately).
I think the design is beautiful but all the stars and planets have to be in alignment for this die to come out correctly - meaning no warping at all in your cutting plates or mats. I ran the die through at least 4 times on two different card stocks but the middle pattern on both ends would not cut out. I had to manually cut these pieces out which does not look as clean and sharp.
Also, the design is slightly larger than my 6 1/2 by 5 inch card stock so I will have to cut a card to match the dimensions.
Much larger than I realized but that was my error, should have read the description. It is very pretty and effective.
