Since my previous orders from Paper Boutique are among my very favorites, I was honestly a little disappointed. There’s nothing really wrong with it, but I don’t love it. The colors are pretty much as shown, and the patterns are cute, but I was hoping the colors would be a little brighter. They seem just a little dull to me.

Is this paper cardstock weight?

My order just came today, so I was able to open this up and lay hands on it. No, it is not as sturdy as cardstock, but it is not flimsy either like copy paper. I would say it is comparable to other 6x6 patterned paper pads in the market. I think it is what some refer to as "layering weight" - not heavy enough to make a card base out of but sturdy enough to use as a mat layer on top of the card base and for die cutting shapes like circles, rectangles, hearts, etc. to also layer on top of the card base. The weight printed on the cover says 160 gsm, which is a metric that I am not familiar with. I hope this helps!
