Description & Details

See why thousands of crafters are absolutely in love with Glossy Accents by Ranger Ink! This beautiful bottle holds an endless amount of possibilities for adhering embellishments, accentuating photos, creating clear domed drops, or adding a thick, glossy layer of shine to give your project the perfect finishing touch!

Contents: One bottle of Glossy Accents Clear Dimensional Embellishment by Ranger Ink

Size: The bottle contains 2 liquid ounces of Glossy Accents

Features:

  • Acid-free
  • Non-toxic
  • Water-based
  • Fine point tip for precision application
  • Dries to a hard, clear, glossy finish
  • Made in the USA

How To Use Glossy Accents:

  • Invert the bottle so liquid flows to the tip.
  • Gently squeeze the bottle to establish a continuous flow.
  • To prevent air bubbles, continue filling the area without lifting the tip off the surface.
  • Clean the needle nose tip between uses to prevent drying. If the tip does dry, simply clear with a pin; always replace the cap between uses.
  • Drying time varies based on thickness of Glossy Accents applied. Allow 15-60 minutes for thin layers and overnight for thick layers.
  • Some decorative papers may release color from the paper into Glossy Accents. Test on a small area of paper to see the effect before applying to your final project.
  • TIP: Always start the flow of Glossy Accents on a piece of scrap paper to push out any air bubbles that may be trapped in the needle nose tip.

Once you use this unbelievable dimensional medium, you'll want to add a subtle shine to every single one of your projects. Want to try out Glossy Accents and see what everyone is talking about? Then you'll want to pick up the mini 0.5-ounce bottle here!

I'm in love with this !!!

I was in doubt for many months if I should buy this, I don't have any scrapstore in my neighbourhood so I only can view things on the internet. I finally decided to buy it and I have absolute no regrets !!! This product is amazing, I'm totally in love with it, it gives so much dimension to your embellies, it turns a simple cut out into a 3d embellie, don't hesitate to buy, it's awesome !!!!!!!

    My new obsession!

This stuff is liquid gold! I love how you can use it as a good quality liquid adhesive for stuff like buttons, bling, etc, as well as it being a cool dimensional gloss. I love to make my own hand made embellishments with this, and a little bit goes a long way, I've used it tons of times and the bottle's not even half empty.

    This is great.

I use to buy clear dots for water layouts sometimes paying $2 - $3 dollars for a small quantity. Never again. This product is great. I've used it thinly and I've used it thick. It does what I want it to do and dries completely clear and the applicator is very precise. This is great. I wish I had bought two instead of just one. I can see myself using this product a lot.

    I love this stuff!

I bought this last year after taking some Christmas card making classes so I could create my own cards. I now use it frequently in my scrapbooking. I love the way it can make something flat seem like it has shape and form. Depending on how much you use, it dries fairly quickly, though its best to let it sit for a while before putting it in a page protector, etc. Of course, the more you use the longer it will take to dry. You can create some wonderful effects with this stuff.

THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR ME!

I love this stuff! I use it over paper cutouts and pictures throughout my albums/pages. It gives it an amazing glossy look that pops! I even add glitter over the paper/picture being used then add this glossy accents over both & the finishing look is just wonderful! This will always be a part of my "Must Use" items.

Glossy Accents - so worth it!

Just got my 2 ounce bottle of Glossy Accents today. Couldn't wait to "test drive" it on a scrap piece of folder that had some Color Bloom spray on it. SOOOOO cool! Used it as described in some of the other reviews to highlight a couple of small areas and it looks great. So happy I went ahead and ordered it. Can't wait to try on a LO.

    BEAUtIFUL shine!

I use this product to create dimension and interest in my cards or scrapbook. It dries clear quickly and does not flow freely from the bottle. I know others use this as a glue, but I haven't done so yet (mostly because I would hate to waste the opportunity to give yet another item shine and dimension).

    Mixed Results

This is the second bottle I have ordered. I'm hoping I was going through a learning curve with the first bottle. I like how this provides a bubble - dome effect to stickers and embellishments. However, with my last bottle it became hard to get the product out. Also, it's important to allow this to dry thoroughly.

    • Glossy Accents is a clear, three-dimensional gloss medium. Use to accent, brighten
and magnify distinct areas on any scrapbook page, rubber stamped image, paper
craft or home decor project. Place Glossy Accents under embellishments to make
them stick and on top to protect and glossify. By: Ranger Ink (12-Jan-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Can I thin this with water and use as a spray adhesive?
I'm trying to find a way to adhere Diamond Dust and other glass glitters to felt. The dust is a "galaxy/stars" backdrop to other art pieces. Cannot for the life of me find anything that will keep the dust from falling off and the felt remaining tacky. Thanks everyone!   By: KnottyGrandma (05-Sep-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

I always get sooooo many bubbles when using glossy accents, how do I prevent that?   By: User (13-Jul-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • There are a few tips you can follow for this; be sure not to shake the bottle, try squeezing some of the product onto another surface first. Also, if you store your bottle upside down and try to use a continuous squeeze for the amount of product you need it should help. By: Scrapbook.com (15-Jul-19) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
