Can this cardstock be a substitute for Yupo paper?

This cardstock is not meant to be used for Alcohol Inks as the paper will absorb the ink and bleed through. Alcohol Inks work best with a coated paper like glossy cardstock or Yupo which allows the ink to sit on the paper, wick and dry on its surface.

Will there be a 12x12 mixed media heavy cardstock ever made? Would love to use mixed media in my scrapbooks!!!

At this time, we aren't aware of plans for 12 x 12 mixed media heavy cardstock but we hope so! It would definitely be a great addition to the Ranger Ink Tim Holtz line. Thanks for your feedback and suggestion!
