This bundle includes 10 non-porous and water-resistant sheets that measure approximately 5" x 7", five sheets of 8" x 10" white 86lb heavy stock, 10 sheets of 5" x 7" white 144lb heavy stock. The Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Yupo Paper is an ideal surface for alcohol inks and mixed media techniques using Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, Mixatives and Blending Solution (each sold separately). The synthetic surface of the paper resists buckling and dries quickly.
Once you have tried yupo you will love it. Was introduced to it at CHA in January but had not tried it until Tim's Creative Chemistry 103 ... I love it love the feel of it and how the alcohol inks work on it.

I didn't realize that alcohol ink needed special paper. I tried the inks on some photo paper I had. It gave some results but the ink didn't move like the videos were saying it would. I got some beautiful background papers even though the paper was more porous. I am excited to try the yupo paper... it will be a whole new experience. I can't possibly imagine loving the alcohol ink technique more than I do now, but it looks like this paper could be magical.

I really like the non porous surface of the Yupo.
I found that my alcohol inks flowed easier on this as compared to the glossy card.

I bought this to make my Christmas cards using a method from TIm Holtz. Using alcohol inks and alcohol lift ink. Worked great.

I can go through a ten pack in five minutes. Wonderful, but looking for larger packages at a better rate. So much fun with alcohol inks!!!

Is there a right side of Yupo to apply the alcohol ink to or is both sides appropriate

You can use either side to Alcohol Ink up the Yupo.
