Achieve a beautifully aged, vintage effect with the Old Paper Distress Ink Pad by Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink. This soft, muted green ink creates a timeworn look on paper, photos, and fibers, making it ideal for antique-inspired crafts. The raised felt pad ensures even application on stamps and edges, perfect for blending, distressing, and inking techniques. Water-based, acid-free, and non-toxic, this 2" x 2" ink pad is a staple for mixed media, card making, and scrapbook projects. Whether adding a nostalgic touch to ephemera or layering colors for depth, Old Paper Distress Ink provides the perfect aged appearance for your creative designs.
I use this stamp pad most often for aging and distressing full sheets of cardstock or cardstock edges. When I tear paper I love how this ink looks on the torn edges (they become darker). All of the Tim Holtz Distress Inks help take your scrapbooking to a more artist, interesting and creative level.

The Distress pads are great - I like what they do because they do faux so well. However, the Old Paper ink is a bit on the green side when applied to white papers. If your paper is dyed through with a color then you get that older look without resorting to a brown or black ink.
Distress inks are a crafter staple.
This ink pad is so versatile! I keep using it over and over again. The color is awesome and it's great for inking the edges of paper, photos, or for stamping. It gives great results for stamping! This is one I reach for on many, many LOs and cards. I have used it so much and it is still like new! I love it!

All of the distress inks are great - but this color is unique. It surprised me a little when it had a greenish tinge to it - but that is exactly what makes it look just like old paper. Give this one a try!

...it is a shade of light green and not dark cream as it seems in the photo. If this sounds OK, then you will love it. I already have Bandled Sage and I think they are very similar. If I knew, I would buy Antique Linen instead. Great quality as always.
As I mentioned before love all Tim Holtz distress inks! can't go wrong with these in my opinion....they add just that special touch! :-)
I bought this ink May 2 2006...It's still going strong!!

I have had distress inks for a few years but didn't use them until I watched the Tim Holtz video. Now I am hooked and have added to my color collection. Fun - fun - fun!
One of my favorites for giving an old look to paper, journaling spots, etc.
I love these inks and the shipping from scrapbook.com is so fast. I will always buy from them.
