This was heavier than expected, only because I didn't wasn't familiar with 50 pt. chipboard. That's what makes it ideal for making the outside covers of mini albums or many other crafting uses where a durable product is needed. The black is deep and rich and I'll definitely buy more of this product, though I'll also look for a lighter weight for the inside pages.
