I am so bummed. I like the scrapbook storage stuff a lot. I would never have guessed this came flat and required assembly with glue strips. I should have read the description better. These did not work well and ripped off on my first try. I wanted solid manufactured seams. This does not have solid seams. I am writing this as a heads up.
Update. One of mine has already broken. I hate that I am going to have to have to use duct tape. I would not purchase again.
These were just not quite as strong as I would have liked a paper
holder to be. When the paper shifted one way, the holder would
tear on the sides. I remedied it by putting duck tape around the bottom sections and repaired the tears with duck tape too - duck tape is my go to for reinforcing stuff - hurray duck tape!
I couldn't wait to get mine. They've been on back order for a while. They are sturdy enough to hold 335 pieces of good thick paper like Doodlebug or Graphic 45. I like a little wiggle room in mine so that I can easily pull out a sheet or put a half sheet back. If you have a lot of thinner big box store papers you can get a lot more in one container. I ordered 3 and wish I had gotten 4. They are clean looking and it makes it easy to see the papers because of the angle of the container. One container is designated for gingham papers and Christmas only. I would give it a 5 star if it were thicker but it is thick enough. Easy to assemble too. It never tipped over when I transferred paper into each container.
Will write another review after a few months to see how they held up. Did not like the gaps in bottom front/back; they are small and should not matter I guess for storing paper; easy to put together; view video before assembling; sturdy; I turned some of mine with the opening edge facing out, so I can access papers without taking box off of shelf.
I was so excited to get this but disappointed with it’s performance. The piece that you have to stick in place doesn’t stay put. I definitely didn’t overload the holder with paper. On more than one occasion I have come in my scrapbook room to see this piece collapsed. So sad. My son suggested that I hot glue it together. The next time it comes apart I am going to try that.
I am sooooooooo glad they started carrying these for 12x12 paper. Do you know how hard it is to find magazine holders that hold this type of paper? I found it super easy to assemble too. The seams do appear a little weak but I believe it can be easily fixed w/pretty tapes or fabric. I have mine filled and haven’t experienced any problems.
I love that these come flat so you save on shipping. The adhesive strip is strong and I've stored tons of cardstock in each one I got and they are holding up great so far!

I really like this method of storing 12x12 paper, because it's upright, and I can page thru the papers much easier than if they were stored in a flat box. Not crazy about accordian files either, as they are usually for 8x11 paper, and they have set dividers.
I'm ordering more of these ASAP.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for - so glad they made & restocked them! I have 2: one for warm colors, one for cool colors & I have my 12x12 organized by color. They are pretty sturdy - I still store mine against a shelf wall so I know they won't fall over. Great purchase!
I ordered these cardstock holders to try and bring some order to my craft room!! They were very easy to assemble and feel like they will be just what I needed for my paper. Such a great deal!
Very sturdy.
