You will love this beautiful poinsettia with leaves and textured centered. This Bigz die features steel-rule construction and easily cuts through leather, metallic foil, foam, paper, sandpaper in limited use, cardstock magnet and more. The die is compatible only with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines and requires the use of a pair of Cutting Pads, all are sold separately. The package includes one Bigz Die that measures 5.5" x 6" and one texture fade that measures 4.5" x 5.75". The design measurements are 3.75" x 3.625" to .5" x .5".

Absolutely love me die embossing folder combo. I am presently working on my Christmas cards using the set. What a great combination.
There is a bit of a learning curve so practice first. Lightly moisten paper before embossing as the impression is detailed. Once you get used to it you will love, love, love the flower you get. Great size too!!

I love, love, love this die. It is big and substantial and just what I need for tags and cards. The Texture Fade gives the flower more depth and pop on the design.

for the poinsettia die i would like to know if it's comparable with anna griffins cricut machine and anna griffins empress die cutting machine. thank you

If the Anna Griffin machine can take thick steel rule dies then this may work in it. However, we do not believe it takes this type of die.

So is there a need for the stamp?
I stamped my card stock with a music sheet stamp then die cut the flower and emboss, antiqued each petals and leaves and spray glitter after it was assembled. Really loved the result.

The embossing was plenty for me. If I wanted a contrasting color, I'd probably just use acrylic paint in the embossing folder, being sure to wash the folder immediately so it didn't dry in there. I used colored cardstock as my base.

I had no problem using this with my Spellbinders Platinum machine. I made a sandwich with (from bottom) cutting plate-die w/cutting side up-cardstock-cutting plate and fed it through without the platform to cut, but with the embossing folder, the sandwich was (from bottom) platform-embossing folder w/die cut pieces inside-embossing mat-cutting plate. The Spellbinder embossing plate was a little too thick for the sandwich to feed through the machine without a very great deal of resistance. The embossing is very deep and detailed - I may play around with that a bit and soften it a little.

I�m looking at the Layered Tattered Poinsettia die set. Does this include the stamps? If not, are stamps available. When I look at the bottom of the product description it seems to be stamps, not dies.

It doesn't come with stamps. It comes with an embossing folder to add texture to the leaves.

I took a look at the images again, and the last one does look like it's a stamp - I don't know if that's the case or if it's red embossing powder against a slightly browner red background. I don't have time right now to experiment with it, but I wonder if that could be accomplished by using the embossing folder followed by ink and powder, and the photo was taken before using the cutting die.
