You will feel like swinging from the trees when you use the Hipster Chimp Framelits Die Set from the Alterations Collection by Tim Holtz for Sizzix! The package includes four thin metal dies that are fun to layer and measure 1.5" x .375" to 2.875" x 2.875". These dies are compatible with the Vagabond, BIGkick and Big Shot machines and require the use of a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform, all items sold separately. This set pairs well with the Stamper's Anonymous Hipster Cling Mount Stamps also sold separately.
/took me some time to gather all the dies and all the stamps for each Hipster. This guy is quite different from his other pals and adds much to the collection. Do yourself a favor. Be sure to get stamps AND dies for each Hipster and then take the time to make them in the 3D as Tim shows in his video, by simply making 3 stamped and then die cut per Hipster. It is amazing the difference in detail that pops out when you to this! My first set is too cute to give away, but I'm anxious to pair them up with the Tim Holtz Snarky sayings and make them into cards that will be bringing smiles for all the recipients!
I have had the Tim Holtz Chimp stamp for quite a while and just wasn't using it as much as I should. I ordered this die so I can cut him out and give him some dimension - WOWSA - I should not have waited so long. He's once again a favorite in my papercrafts.
So much character now!
