Specifically designed to work with the Sidekick machine sold separately, the Smokey Gray Mini Cutting Pads allow easy diecutting with chemically-etched dies from Sizzix also sold separately. The package includes one pair of see-through, smokey gray, high quality polycarbonate plastic cutting pads that each measure 4.875" x 2.5". The pads are meant to be used on both sides.
These cutting pads are just like the ones that come with the Tim Holtz Sidekick machine. They work beautifully with small dies, and when you're multi-crafting, they also double as an acrylic block for your stamps (though the darker color might affect the precision of your stamping). They are terrific!
Works great for the thin metal dies. The package says they are 1/8" thick like the old clear pads. These are just a smidge thicker and makes all the difference.
My Sizzex sidekick is a great little machine for having on my craft table to cut little dies! I haven't enough bench space in my craft room to have my larger sizzex machine out all the time ( maybe in our next house???) so i am using my side kick all the time. thank you for the quick delivery all the way to new zealand1

An item that should have been introduced a long time ago!
After years (yes years) of consistent use with my (initial brown) Tim Holtz Sidekick, I am finally buying my second set of plates. Not sure I need just yet. These plates are every bit as amazing as the Tim Holtz Sidekick!! When deep gouges caused small problems a couple swipes with a plastic kitchen scrubber to wear high edges down and they've been going strong more months. These plates and the Sidekick are two of the best money EVER spent in this card making hobby!
