This 3D Texture Fades Mini Lumbar embossing folder is designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This mini folder measures 2 5/8" x 4". This folder is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This folder can be used with Sizzix Effectz Luster Wax, inks, paints, and other crafting mediums (sold separately) for more amazing effects. This folder is designed to use with one sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, or vellum. For best results, spray both sides of the cardstock with a fine water mist before running through the die cutting machine and run through the machine 3 times and use with only one cutting pad.
I must not have seen mini, in the description. I ordered 3 of the folders, but thought they were regular size. They work very well, lots of detail.
I ordered this item after I had received the rocket embossing folder because of the size, but this folder isn;t even half the size of the rock embossing folder. Too expensive!
I'm glad I got this mini embossing folder. The wood pattern really looks like old wood and I like that. This size embossing folder will be good for ATCs and mixed media. It will also be good for regular-sized work as accents.
Works great, looks super detailed. Can’t wait to make tiny houses with it!
This is a very tiny embossing folder. If you make 2.5 inch cards, this would work for you, I make 5x7 cards. I thought, "Mini" referred to the size of the woodgrain, not the size of the folder. This is NOT worth $10.00. I certainly wouldn't pay over $2.50 if I had known how tiny the folder is.
