This 3D Texture Fades Mini Cobblestone embossing folder is designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This mini folder measures 2 5/8" x 4". This folder is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This folder can be used with Sizzix Effectz Luster Wax, inks, paints, and other crafting mediums (sold separately) for more amazing effects. This folder is designed to use with one sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, or vellum. For best results, spray both sides of the cardstock with a fine water mist before running through the die cutting machine and run through the machine 3 times. Use with only one cutting pad.
This mini 3D embossing folder is easy to use and makes an impact! I think I’ll probably end up ordering the larger size too for bigger projects! Love it!
These are just perfect for my small houses. They emboss the pattern of stones to use on the facade. There is also a small lumber and a brick texture fade that are sold separately. I have all three and again they are perfect for the small village houses.
One person mentioned that this embossing folder is tiny and she wasn't kidding! Even so, I like it and will get a lot of use out of it because it will be good for mixed media work. I like natural things like stones and bricks, etc.
This folder works for all sorts of texture on my tiny houses. Walkways, chimneys, patios, the list goes on. The embossing makes distress crayons and other paint & ink techniques look amazing on it.
$10.00 for a TINY folder! Insane! I thought, "Mini" referred to the size of the cobblestones, as in small cobblestones instead of large ones. I never would have paid this much if I had known it was tiny. It's not worth more than $2.50 so wait until it goes on clearance to buy.
