Magazine lives up to its hype! Everything I expected and more. Tons of creativity packed into this guide and the craft dies are first rate. The paper is a bit on the thin side, but the sky's the limit as far as crafting goes. Scrapbook.com has a great price on this and am glad they're selling it!

This kit blew me away! I am queen of subscription boxes and based on the price point I didn’t have high expectations for this box, but it was better than a couple of my subscription boxes that have much higher price points. My kit arrived on the same day as another card kit box which I barely looked at because I was so taken by this kit. The two included dies alone I estimate to be valued more than the cost of this kit. The stamps are high quality and sized for versatility. The contents are appreciated and loved additions to my crafting stock, and getting lots of use. This is sold here as a kit — one time purchase — but appears to be a subscription box in the UK. I hope Scrapbook.com keeps bringing future releases to the US for us!
I would have given this 5 stars if they had not used a die that could not be cut on a regular machine. The box die has to have a wider carriage to be cut by machine. So this die is now in the templates storage area in my craft room.
I loved everything else included with the magazine. The magazine is just full of inspiration. This is a great way to build your supplies and all with an outstanding product.
Great crafting pack with lots of great products and ideas. All you need to get your creativity going 😉

I would not have made this purchase if I had known that the largest die would not be compatible with the Big Shot machine. That was a real disappointment, and also my biggest complaint about Tonic--they don't provide enough information about their products.
I am going to use this kit with a group of 16 Activity Day girls ages 8 through 11 and I think they will love it.

Tonic Inspiration Guide kits are the best value for money anywhere. The dies, stamps and embossing folders are great quality, the papers are lovely (and different, which is nice) and the magazine is always a treat to flip through.
I've just ordered this one but I'm basing my rating and review on previous sets from this series. I mean, how cute is that Christmas cracker die?! Can't wait to get my inky little paws on it.

Do the projects require lots of other items that Tonic sell, or can they be completed with the supplies in the set ( plus basic cardstock, glue etc) I don�t want to buy this and then find I have to spend a load more to get any use from this kit!

As a contributor to the magazine, you could recreate a lot of the projects using supplies you already have; card, glue, ink pads, colouring supplies etc, However you also get a set of dies within the magazine which can also be used too. Hope that helps but if you need any further information, let me know.

The Nordic Christmas die set is 4.38" wide and 5" tall. The Nordic Cracker Die Set is 6.88" wide (requires Tangerine or a Big Shot Plus. Let me know if you have any further questions.

The sizzix big shot will cut dies up to 6 inches in width and up 14" long with the extended plates the biggest die in this mag is 7" so only two dies from the bonus set will not fit through, but all the other will. Its well worth the cost you wouldn't be able to get that die set for 19.99

Unfortunately, no. The two larger dies will not fit. However, the rest of the dies will.

Unfortunately, no. Two of the Dies included are too large to use with the Cuttlebug. Everything else will fit.
I'm having difficulty using the embossing folder. I have a big shot but what cutting pads do I use?

I'm answering my own question. Use the original platform, not the magnetic platform. use both cutting pads and ONLY tab 1 of the platform and the result is great. I've spent all afternoon playing with this. Whew!
