You have to have room for the bulk wherever you intend to hang it. It's very sturdy made of heavy canvas (?). Unfortunately, the black octagon-shaped bag only clips onto the all-metal circular-like thing--I suppose it serves as a cup holder according to the picture--which severely increases the bulk of the entire product. There is no clamp on the bag itself to affix it without the all metal piece. I would not purchase it again and will give this away.
I have health issues and often do art journaling on my tray tables that span my bed or bedchair. One would think that they offer plenty of workspace but no. lol This gizmo was perfect for my needs as it offers a great deal more real estate beyond my tote for holding my art supplies. I love it!!
Cup holder is very large and with nice size opening for the handle. It's very sturdy and storage bag is well made.
I bought one of these since I love the idea of storing crafting tools in the pockets and off my crafting space. The reason for the four stars...I'm right handed and to access the beverage holder I have to awkwardly reach around the handle opening to get a mug with a handle. It doesn't make sense not to have two openings for mug handles.

What type of handle is on the screw to tighten the cup holder to the table? Can pictures of this be posted?

Will this product work on a plastic folding table? I'm looking to use this at crops, as well as at home, and crops usually provide tables that are not necessarily squared off?

Hello, this Table Tidy has an adjustable metal clamp. As long as the clamp can clamp down onto a flat surface under the table it should work just fine. We did test it here in the office and had to make sure we were not clamping it onto the metal of the table leg, but it did work.
