Sturdy Standard Ink Case
“Since my ink collection has grown, I've been needing a better way to store my ink pads rather than keeping them in a plastic shoe box way on top of my shelf. I was VERY impressed with this organizer. It's made of very sturdy, durable plastic and houses my Stampin' Up inks perfectly. I have no qualms about this organizer breaking anytime soon. The top tray is great for storing small bottles of glitter, Stickles, alcohol inks, or just extra ink refill bottles. And it's only about 3 or 4 inches deep so it doesn't take up too much desktop space at all. I'm very pleased with this item and will probably buy a couple more.” – krisalis903
Best Craft Organizer - PortaInk Standard Case
“Very sturdy plastic. Takes up very little space. Easy to clean. It fits Stampin’ Up ink pads perfect. Others either have some space at the sides (which is no trouble) or empty space at the back. For them (like Tim Holtz) I put a chuck of foam at the back to fill the space. It works great. You can buy the spacers, but I had the free foam.” - zac
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A SCRAPBOOKING/CREATIVE TYPE PERSON. BUT RECENTLY I HAVE GOTTEN INTO CARD MAKING AND STAMPING AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS INCLUDING MANY STAMP PADS THAT I NEEDED SOMETHING TO DO WITH. WHEN WORKING IT IS HARD TO HAVE EVERYTHING LAYING AROUND THE TABLE. SO I PURCHASED THIS ITEM TO TRY TO ORGANIZE MYSELF. I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS SO CHEAP THAT IT WOULD BE FLIMSY. I COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. IT IS REALLY WELL MADE AND IS NOT WOBBLY. MY BIGGEST FEAR WAS THAT I WOULD GO TO REACH FOR SOMETHING AND IT WOULD KNOCK IT OVER. THAT IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL. SO I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PRODUCT.IN FACT, I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED SOME DYE INK AND AM THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING ANOTHER ONE FOR DYE INK, AND LEAVE MY OTHER ONE FOR PIGMENT INK. I USE THIS FOR ORGANIZATION ONLY NOT FOR STORAGE OF THE ITEMS WHEN I PUT THE INK AWAY (UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T HAVE A CRAFT ROOM), SO I HAVE TO STORE THINGS AWAY. A VERY DECENT ITEM FOR THE PRICE. I HAVE SEEN THINGS MADE WAY CHEAPER FOR WAY MORE MONEY...I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY BUY.
I had been pulling my hair out over all of the ink pads I have accumulated for my multimedia. I happened to be browsing and saw this. I bought one along with the inserts as many of my inks are Tim Holtz.
It was love as soon as I put those inserts in (which went in easily for me with a little help from a jewelry sized flat head screwdriver). I have it hanging on the wall above my work table. Not only is it great for keeping all of the pads organized and ready to use, being able to hang it on the wall freed up space on my table!
I just ordered another one last night without the inserts for my other ink pads and I cannot wait until it is delivered later in the week! I can see myself ordering at least 1 more possibly 2 with inserts.
As to it being an unsightly black all I can say is, "Are we crafters or not?!" You don't like the facade of the organizer then cover it up with scrap book paper. I used DCWV's Royal Garden. I love the Peacock feathers running around the sides and fronts.
I have been looking for ages for a way to store my SU ink pads. I don't like the carousel type storage as they take up too much room. There are some very nice looking wood ones out there but I didn't want to spend a fortune - I'd rather spend my money on scrapbook/card supplies. ;-)
This case is perfect and what made it even more so is that I could mount another case on the side to store up to 24 markers. I ordered one of those as well and am happy I did.
The case arrived today and I couldn't be more pleased. It has the option of hanging it on the wall, but it takes up so little room that I can keep it on my desk. I dressed it up a little bit with a strip of washi tape across the top and bottom. Great product.

These towers are amazing. I bought 2 of them and am going to order a third one. They are very sturdy and stack nicely on countertop and can also be hung. I filled mine up with Stampin Up ink pads and they fit like a glove. Like them alot more than the carousel tower. They also fit Tim Holtz pads with the inserts. There is a place on the top for ink refills , stickles etc. I put all my clear blocks on top of one which works great.

I have enough Colorbox inks to fill this Portaink container............too bad!
The slots do not accommodate those ink pads. I am so very, very, very disappointed. I mainly use StazOn and Colorbox ink pads. There should be a statement on this products telling the buyer exactly which ink pads will fit in the slots. Now I have to mess with returning it!
I wanted a case for my SU ink pads, but didn't have enough to justify paying the high cost for their ink pad holder. After some more research, I found the PortaInk case and couldn't be happier. I also purchased the inserts for smaller pads which holds my Tim Holtz Distress pads as well as my StazOn pads. I will definately be buying more cases as my collection grows. Love it!
I've only had them on the wall a week, but so far so good. I hbought 4 of them for Stampin Up pads, and versamark, encore, etc... They seem well constructed, and I like the fact that I can easily take it off the wall if I need to take it with me. The top holds my reinkers, and stickles. I do not care for the color, but for functionality it's perfect.
This is the best way to store your stamp pads. I bought
these originally for my Distress ink pads along with the
inserts and they work perfectly. Reading the reviews, I
saw that they are great for SU pads also, so I am
ordering 2 more.
They are wonderful if you don't have a lot of work space.
They sit side by side against the wall, leaving plenty of
crafting space in front.
Just found this item on the web as I don't see it in any Hawaii stores. I put all my collection of distress ink pads and made labels with a sample color swatch in front so I can see the color at a glance. It does not take too much space but you can also hang it on the wall if you don't want it at your table and it will still be in easy reach.
