this chipboard is kind of in between weights, I think. i bought it thinking it may be lighter weight, and it is. so i am happy with it. it is 1/16th" thick but still can work it to bend. planning on using for travel journal and bending it, i think it will work with some encouragement.

I create scrapbooks and I was looking for something suitable to make a base of an album. I ordered a pack of 2 white chipboard sheets and, you know, I loved them. They are thick, easy to cut and do not crunch as some chipboards. So, I purchased a pack of 10 sheets and just waiting for them.

This chipboard is not as thick as chipboard that I have ordered from other sites, but it IS PERFECT for stamping on and cutting out!

I'm using these for my stamps on one side & glue magnetic vent covers to back, after cutting sheet down to 8 1/2 wide. Several of my card making dies come with 2 stamp sets, I use Scotch double-sided tape on back of stamp set to hold in place. Use clear bags to cover them. These are perfect for making mini albums also.

Can you tell me the difference between 50pt. and 90pt. chipboard? I plan to use the 12x12 size as dividers in my verticle paper storage. Don't want them too thick, but sturdy enough to hold the weight of several papers as I thumb through them. Thanks!

I can’t give you an exact difference. But I can say that the 50pt is pretty sturdy. The 90pt is very thick. The 90 is great for signs or decorations. It’s hard to describe.
One more question: Can I safely use my Fibron Paper Cutter to cut this chipboard? Any suggestions?

As this is thicker than cardstock it may be too thick to cut easily with a Firbon paper cutter. It would likely work but may wear the blade out quickly.

Can I use my Die Cutting Machine on this chipboard? I use a Big Shot Foldaway and most of my dies are thinlits.

You could try running it thru your machine many times, but I don't think it will work ( with thinlits ). You can cut fun-foam & layer paper over the top, or felt. You can cut poster board... but the blades of thinlits & thin dies aren't deep enough to cut thru chipboard.
