As a trained classical watercolor artist I began playing around with water brushes a few years ago.
I have been eyeing this set for quite a while.
Reading all of the reviews I was worried about the performance of the brushes and the quality of the pigment within.
Let me tell you this...these are amazing and wonderful!
Yes, a water brush takes some getting used to but these mermaid markers are worth every penny!
I recently traveled with them and I LOVE them. After priming the brush initially, they perform beautifully and the pigments are rich and saturated. I color swatched each and keep them in a travel pouch. No leaking, no glopping. I absolutely love them. I would upload photos but I don't know how here on this review.
The colors are so nice and vivid. I was surprised by how well the “tip-to-tip” blending worked. Works well on cardstock but it works best on watercolor paper I think.
