Fill your holiday crafting with Snowy Stars using these Thinlits Dies from the Alterations Collection by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. There are 6 thin metal dies included in the shapes of stars and a snowy wreath and strip. Use the dies with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines (requires use of a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform; when using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform & Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required, all pieces sold separately) to cut, emboss or stencil. The dies measure 4.375" x 4.375" to .5" x .625".
I saw these and immediately knew I needed them. Thankfully, I was also putting in an order at the time. I really like the big wreath of stars look. The straighter piece is also a nice addition, although I just wish there were a few more recognizable star shapes throughout... especially toward the bottom. The wonky shapes of the three smaller accent stars fit well with the patterns of the multiple cuts dies. And of course the star (pun intended) is that big shining one that will look great on certain Christmas cards no doubt. Broke them out and used them already for a graduation card and look forward to using them many more times. They cut well of course.

I love Tim Holtz designs and he has done it again. The circle of stars works beautifully with the Penny Black "Manger" die inside. The long strip of stars works great over the Tim Holtz Wise Men die too!
Scrapbook.com has so many selections for a crafter--they are my go to place for dies and other accessories that keep me creating new items.
The dies in this set can do so many things and can give so many different effects. From playful to elegant. They also cut great.
Service was awesome and the dies arrived quickly.
I would highly recommend.
I have not used these dies yet. They were larger than I anticipated and, I think, will be perfect for the creation next year's Christmas cards for which they were purchased.
