Designed specifically for the larger Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting & Embossing Machine and Spellbinders Contour Steel Rule and most etched dies. Use to keep etched dies in place, especially when wanting to align with patterns or phrases on cardstock. Warning: Contains strong magnets. Can be harmful to pacemakers. Please note: This magnetic platform will not work with the Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine, only the larger Spellbinders Platinum machine.
I just got my first spellbinders platinum 6 and I do love it. I am not happy with the magnetic cutting base for the fit it too tight for my machine. It is bigger than the regular base plate. Either this one is defective or it's not meant for this machine, but way too small for the platinum bigger machine.
This magnetic platform is an absolute must-have for cardmakers and paper-crafters. Using the magnetic platform makes die-cutting my stamped objects a breeze. It allows for precision-cut shapes.
A must have and it is worth every penny, I use wafer thins dies in miniature with paper scraps. No more taping and hoping the die does not slip. Spellbinders you are the bomb!!!! Thanks
I would recommend everyone buy this with any machine it makes cutting thinlet dies so much easier
I just ordered the magnetic platform (which I love for my Big Shot) but this platform isn’t the correct size for the Spellbinders Platinum machine...it should measure the same size as the cutting plates but this measures 8 5/8 instead of 8 3/4 and it’s too wide to put through my machine...now i’’m going to have to send it back..
I have used this several times in conjunction with the glimmer plates, but when I try to use it to cut the wafer thin dies, it won’t go thru! The plate is too large, or my machine is defective! I have watched numerous videos to make sure I’m making the sandwich correctly, and I am so that is not the problem. I wish I could send it back, but it’s been too long now!

Why is there not a magnetic plate available for the Platinum 6?

I asked the folks at Spellbinders this question just last week and was told it's in the works but there's no release date yet. She suggested signing up for their newsletter as that is where new product news is released first.

How do I know if this magnet platform will fit in the Michael's brand big kick same with cutting plates does scrapbook.com have them for the big kick? Yesni tried to find them but maybe I'm not looking in the right place idk thanks

This platform is intended for the Spellbinders Platinum machine and is not recommended for the Big Kick machine. We do not have a platform available for this machine. However, there are cutting plates that should work well in that machine: link Hope this helps!

The platform is 6.5 inches wide. It sounds like the product information is incorrect.
