Will this die work with the Big Shot? If so, would I need anything extra in order to use this die? Thanks!

Yes it will work with the big shot. I found that it cuts beautiful if you add a shim (a metal shim or pieces of cardstock) this will make the pressure a little tighter and will cut clean. Every big shot is a little different so play around with yours.
