This eight piece etched metal die set, Stitched Joy is part of the Stitchmas Christmas Collection from Spellbinders. This die set features the word Joy surrounded by flowers and leaves. There are also extra pieces to add even more dimension. The dot designs are a guide to stitching the patterns with embroidery floss and a needle. This die set can also be used as-is. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The joy base measures 3.4" x 5.1", the JOY letters measure 1.1" x1.1" each, and the extra flower measures 0.5" x 0.5".
Tip: To embroider this design, use two strands of a six-strand DMC Floss or DMC Diamant Metallic Thread and a size 22 tapestry needle (all products sold separately).

I originally purchased to make Christmas cards. But after 2 cuts see the potential for Baby cards, Wedding cards or another celebration.
I had been eyeing this die set for a while, and after viewing the sample cards posted on the Scrapbook.com and Spellbinders websites, I'm so happy that I finally have it. I intend to use it for cardmaking and ornament making, and also for our scrapbook.
This die is great. I love the way it cuts and the little bits come out easy. The holes are perfect for sewing and the letters are fantastic. Everything cuts out just as it should
