Please take note of truly how LARGE a footprint this item takes up! 14x17.5x2.5. I measured and thought I had space in my small room but nope, this item is huge! I can return it but the cheapest shipping I can find is $24. So, I think I will probably be selling it. It is technically a top notch Tonic trimmer but it is designed for someone with a very large studio. I definitely regret my purchase.
I have been waiting so long for this to come out. I had been waiting for a size suitable for scrapbooking and had only just purchased the previous model. I just had to get this though as I can just use it without setting it up.

This is the best trimmer on the craft market. My first Tonic trimmer was purchased about 20 years ago and with wear and tear not looking so good, BUT still cut great and straight ---- but I wanted not needed a new one .

Chipboard comes in various thicknesses. Thinner ones, yes. In general, no.
