I have a little angel girl her name is Tori-Leigh
She fills my days with laughter and my nights with sweetest dreams
Her loving eyes look up at me, my heart melts clean away
Her cherub lips are perfect, a treat to kiss all day
Her tiny fingers now learning to hold, fill her with delight
Her wiggly feet are just perfect for her to suck and bite
She is almost sitting on her own; balance is still an issue
Oh dear, up it comes ...Please pass another tissue!
She drools and spits and gurgles in ultrasonic tones
And when she is allowed to she sucks on braai meat bones.
Two miniature teeth are cutting through (On the bottom left and right)
She’s trying tasty food each day to help her sleep at night!
After bath and boob and cuddles, she sucks her teeny thumb
And pretty soon thereafter makes noises from her bum!
She likes to snuggle on our bed and often goes straight to sleep
So through the night we seldom hear another little peep.
She is a little miracle, a precious poopie loopie
I would not change her for a thing the sweetest cookie lookie!

Two tiny hands,

A cute baby boy

Tiny fingers, tiny toes

Oh! my gosh its a little boy.

Leave their impressions today.
Soon they will wear two little shoes,
And be running and jumping at play.

Before they are walking to school,

Butterfly Kisses (Song)

"I know the cake looks funny, Daddy, but I sure tried."
In all that I've done wrong I know I must

Daddy and His Lil' Girl
As a father looks into his daughter's eyes, all she can see is her daddy's love for her.

She may be small and she may be a baby, but she is daddy's lil' cowgirl for sure.
He says he will teach her how to ride, teach her what she needs to know.
She can only coo but when he leaves for work she will want to say "Don't go".
When daddy is stressed all he needs is to look into those big brown eyes and see her smile.
He knows he has her love and his heart skips a beat and jumps a mile.
Staying up to feed her and change her diapers ain't his game.
Without her though, he is lost and knows he wouldn't be the same.
She will look at him and see her very own hero, he will look at her and see his star.
Even when he is away on the hunt, his heart and his love will never be far.
She wakes up in the morning with a smile and a head full of bushy hair.
Her daddy says "Don't worry Munchkin, I'll always be there"
When she cries, she will be swept up into arms so tender and strong.
When mommy's at work, daddy will say "Hush baby, mommy won't be long"
He'll be there for every bump and scratch, and hurt with her just the same.

In her daddy's eyes she is the reason for living, an she is his world.

She's just a darling little girl, as precious as a lamb,

She's in and out, and here and there, throughout our busy day,
And many times I stop my work because she wants to play.
She often has a special hug, the sweetest baby kiss,
And when just she and I are there I rate this treasured bliss.
But when her dad arrives at night, you'll find her in a whirl,
She hasn't time for Mother then, because she's Daddy's girl.
It's joy to see her laughing eyes, her happy baby smile,
'Tis then I know that all is well and life is worth the while,
So lovingly he'll pinch her nose or try to steal a curl

I often marvel at the charms that only dads possess,

The little girl inside my heart,

No worry of what tomorrow brings,

In confusion I sit and contemplate,
and ask myself "just why..."

as we learn to say, "goodbye".

your arm is over your eyes or straight out by your side
and you little round belly moves in and out with each restful breath.

I’ll vacuum now and do some dusting,
This house is really quite disgusting.

Now the house is clean and tidy,
It’s time to get some food inside me.

From the moment I knew you were there, I fell in love with you.

I told your father and brother and they were happy too!
For hours I would sit and think of pretty names for you.
I even asked my sisters and friends for their opinions too.
We came up with lots of them; so many I could hardly decided.
I just took a deep breath and said “Hey, I have plenty of time.”
That’s what I thought until I received the phone call;
The doctor told me I wouldn’t get to hold you after all.
No more thoughts of pink dresses and ponytails and curls;
Yes, I knew in my heart of hearts that you were a little girl.
I’m going to be strong because your brother, Dominick, still needs me.
He’s 9 years old and thinks he’s grown up but will always be my baby.
I just want you to know the reason I’m not sad or stressing….
Even though things turned out this way you are still a blessing!
I believe in God and know that He never makes a mistake
So for His perfect plan and reasons, it’s you He chose to take.
I won’t question His motives or stop believing in His Will
I’ll take this is a life lesson and keep living, still.
I still have a job down here and apparently you completed your task.
I’m sure part of your job was to bring me a little bit of joy but I won’t even ask.
I won’t ask why me…why now…or any other obvious question
I’ll just see you for what you are…still a blessing!

to have a positive attitude at all times
to always make things right when they are wrong
to know herself well
to know what her talents are
to set goals for herself
to not be afraid of working too hard to reach her goals.

to have many interests to pursue
to laugh and have fun every day
to appreciate the beauty of nature
to enter into friendships with good people
to honor their friendships and always be a good friend
and to particularly respect and love our elder members
to use her intelligence all times
to listen to her emotions
to adhere to her values

to not be afraid to stick to her beliefs
to not follow the majority when the majority is wrong
to carefully plan a life for herself
to vigorously follow her chosen path
to enter into a relationship with someone worthy of herself

If I have provided you with an insight
into most of these things
then I have succeeded as a mother
in what I hoped to accomplish in raising you
if many of these slipped by
while we were all so busy
I have a feeling you know them anyway
